NOKIA : What went wrong ?

Why Nokia lost the war?

As we can see, today the major mobile platforms are android and apple. Both are software giant and have exceptional abilities in software intelligence. Nokia really lacked it, since it was a hardware manufacturer.

In 2007 when Iphone took the world by surprise and Android was in development mode, Nokia decided to come up with such a revolutionized operating system for smart phones. And this single decision proved to be the major turning point in company's history. This is the age of mergers and acquisitions. If Nokia would have partnered up with google it would have not loosened up its grip.

So Nokia's policy of not providing any Android supported device and instead trying to revamp Symbian really decided the future for Nokia in one of the most disappointing manner. I believe it should have been a very tough decision for CEO to mark a bet on Symbian improvement to compete against Apple , Google and Microsoft. I'll never do it, its never an intelligent move, to build from scratch. In today's world, you don't have time to build from scratch and improvise.

Google itself did not build Android from scratch, in fact they bought it and spend most of time in improving it and building a large app base, which google already saw as a potential revenue source, learning from apple's success.

There is no Humanity Left..

No matter, In today's world whether you look at east or west, first world or third world, everyone has compromised humanity for never ending hunger of power and money. Here i would like to bring to open the aftermath of Chemical warfare used by so called World Power , "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" against totally defenseless generation of peasants.

Between 1961 and 1975, the United States waged war against the Viet Cong and their allies, and in the process defoliated the land and forests of Vietnam, as well as parts of Laos and Cambodia, with a toxic chemical cocktail known as Agent Orange. More than 50 years since the U.S. first launched its chemical warfare program in the Southeast Asian region, the tragedy of that brutal campaign lingers.

Phirum Ung, 5, a third-generation Agent Orange victim, naps in a hammock at home in Beng Melea Province, Siem Reap, Cambodia. Most of his days are spent with his mother panhandling at the Angkor Wat Temples. Phirum Ung was born in southeastern Cambodia, where thousands of acres were sprayed with Agent Orange. India has lost confidence of the world: Ratan Tata

With the economy in distress, leading industrialist Ratan Tata has said India has lost the confidence of the world and the government has been slow to recognize it.

He also said the government has "swayed" under the influence of vested interests in private sector and policies have been "changed, delayed and manipulated".

Tata, who demitted office as Tata group Chairman last December, said Prime MinisterManmohan Singh has held India's "esteem high but in recent times we have lost that esteem".
"We have lost the confidence of the world. We have been slow to recognise that in the government," he told CNN-IBN while responding to a query on PM's silence on investors losing confidence.

He further said it would be good for the country if policies were implemented as they were written.

Middle East: The Crisis in Syria

Origins of the Crisis
The al-Assad regime first came into power in 1970 after a bloodless military coup put the government in the hands of Hafiz al-Assad, the father of current Syrian president Bashar al-Assad. Hafiz al-Assad established an authoritarian regime and kept the country under an emergency law that was first implemented in 1962. Under the Syrian constitution, the president is granted the right to call a State of Emergency, which strips citizens of most constitutional rights and gives the government almost unlimited power in regards to domestic security. With the ability to arrest, detain, and execute dissidents whenever it sees fit, the government under Hafiz al-Assad was able to intimidate Syrian citizens and deter them from protesting en masse. As a result, al-Assad was able to quell popular resistance with relative ease until 1976, which marked the beginning of an insurrection headed by the fundamentalist Sunni organization, the Muslim Brotherhood.
